I was truly impressed by the baby-friendly hotel, clean bedding, and excellent service. Especially, celebrating my wife's birthday at any restaurant was so memorable. I hope we have another chance to visit with the kids next time. However, there was a slight issue at Jade Lounge on the first day. While I noticed that the servers kindly explained all the menu items to the patrons seated next to us, one of whom was Taiwanese and the other American, they simply handed the menu to my wife and mother-in-law without providing any explanations. This happened several times. I hope it wasn't due to any bias or racial discrimination, and I sincerely wish for improvements in this regard during our next visit.

Pleasant Stay

A very pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly and professional. Room was clean and spacious. We had dinner at Ya Ge and breakfast buffet at MO Cafe, both were nice. We also had some fresh fruits and macarons as welcome amenities which we did not expect. The only minor thing to criticise was that the water kettle was a bit dirty (we tried to make some tea but the water was oily so we didn’t dare to drink it in the end, perhaps the previous guest used the kettle to cook or something?). Overall a solid 9 out of 10 experience that I would definitely return and recommend.

Before I got in the door, every staff I met, shows their smile, feeling very well, and welcoming. Since the first step into the hotel, everything looks so amazing, I can’t stop wowing in my mind, every staff were very friendly no matter they could say in your language or not, they always tried their best to help me out with the best way. Very wonderful experience. 100% recommend.

Overall it was excellent. Absolutely beautiful building, full of character and individuality. Room was huge and had every amenity you could think of. There was also nice touches like extra cables for your devices and ties to keep things neat. Housekeeping were fast and efficient and the room was always left sparkling. One huge disappointment however was the bed. It was lumpy, sagged in the middle and just not comfortable. Only properly noticed this on the last night so we didn’t mention it previously but this should be looked at. Overall the staff were incredible. Wilson and Jason at check in were particularly great while Carmen made an extra effort to introduce herself at breakfast and look after us through small kind gestures that left a wonderful impression of the delightful touches MO does which makes me want to return. Breakfast selection is excellent and generous though I would definitely visit the main restaurant over the lounge however the latter is always good for a second sitting if you’re hungry! The Oriental Club lounge staff were attentive and friendly, always making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Alcohol selection is decent though it would be good to see champagne offered. The food is pretty good and the terrace really adds something special compared to the inside. The meeting room is large and generous and was useful for my conference call. I’d also like to thank the spa manager (whose name I didn’t catch but she was wearing a black suit) for making me feel welcome and like family. I had a great oriental essence massage by Mini. Checkout was fine, though it was rather robotic and transactional. The lady (whose name I didn’t catch) didn’t mention or ask me about my stay at all which I found rather strange. It was my birthday that day and only as I was getting into the car did a male manager (?) in a black suit come over to say goodbye and politely wished me happy birthday. Overall an excellent stay and can’t wait to return.
